A vertical machining center is a high-precision device whose accuracy is closely related to the external environment. Let me tell you about the environmental requirements for a vertical machining center:
1. Temperature: Temperature changes can cause slight deformation of the metal components that make up the machining center. A simple example is the familiar principle of thermal expansion and contraction. Although the effect of this temperature change is invisible to the naked eye, it affects the accuracy of the machine tool. Therefore, in general, in addition to installing ventilation and heat dissipation devices, the vertical machining center will also indicate the ambient temperature. This range is not fixed, but it should generally be less than 30 degrees Celsius. As mentioned above, the underground factory built by Dalian Guangyang has kept the temperature within 1 degree Celsius of 22 degrees Celsius.
2. Humidity: In addition to temperature, humidity also affects the vertical machining center. Machine tool manufacturers and machine tool users should pay attention to humidity control in the workshop. Generally speaking, the relative humidity of the machine tool should not exceed 80%. However, some high-precision machine tool manufacturers also maintain the humidity at around 60%.
3. Air quality: Air quality must be considered during the production and use of vertical machining centers. In addition to the humidity mentioned above, this air quality also includes "harmful gases" and "inhalable particulate matter". Gases harmful to machine tools are usually corrosive gases that adversely affect the machine tool and its internal precision parts, reducing the service life of the parts and affecting the normal operation of the machine tool. "Inhalable particulate matter" usually refers to dust. Excessive dust is not only unsanitary but also increases the risk of short-circuiting circuit boards.
